Thank you for visiting our website. Since 1947, Whitestone Volunteer Ambulance has been an active community service providing FREE basic life support ambulances to the area of Whitestone!
We respond to medical emergencies when our 24 hour hotline is called and we are also an active participant in the FDNY's 911 network. Whitestone residents can borrow walkers, canes, wheelchairs and crutches at no charge to them. We transport Whitestone residents to and from medical facilites in non-emergency situations.
Throughout the year, Whitestone Ambulance hosts blood drives, CPR training as well as many other aspects of emergency medicine.
We will continue these traditions with pride and integrity for generations to come. We need to continue to receive the unwavering support that this community has always shown by way of donations and participation. Funding is desperately needed for new ambulances, equipment and facility repairs. Volunteers are also needed now more than ever. We have an in-depth training program that prepares new members for ambulance duty and the experience gained often leads to careers in emergency services and the health care industry.
Please consider joining our membership in whatever capacity you can!
Thank you very much!
